Ghanaian broadcaster Captain Smart has urged the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to make public what he describes as an FBI report relating to investigations surrounding dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and his Lamborghini.
Speaking on the matter, Captain Smart asserted that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had allegedly confirmed the legitimacy of the vehicle’s purchase and shipment to Ghana. He questioned why the vehicle remains under scrutiny if, as he claims, international authorities have already clarified the matter.
The broadcaster further suggested that transparency is essential in maintaining public confidence, emphasizing that any official communication from foreign investigative bodies should be disclosed if it exists.
As of now, EOCO has not publicly responded to these assertions. The situation continues to attract significant public attention, with observers calling for clarity and due process as investigations proceed.
The development adds another dimension to an already high-profile case, underscoring the importance of institutional transparency, procedural integrity, and measured public commentary in matters involving alleged financial or regulatory scrutiny.
